08 — Telecom & internet

Connecting communities.

We invest in the passive infrastructure that carries the world’s data — from tower telecom to fixed wireless broadband and internet exchange.

Overview

Tower infrastructure at scale — and Iraq’s digital spine.

We are building our telecom and internet segment through investments and acquisitions across the value chain: tower telecom in India with global partners, and first-mover internet exchange (IXP) and fixed wireless access (FWA) initiatives in Iraq. The ambition for Iraq is a highly connected, scalable network linking the country’s border corridors toward regional and European routes.

How we create value.

Disciplined ownership across the life-cycle of each asset.

01Passive infrastructure first

Towers, IXP and FWA are long-duration assets that sit underneath every digital service.

02Partner with global capital

In India we invest alongside Global Infrastructure Partners, Blackstone and Mubadala at national scale.

03Build Iraq’s digital hub

Neutral IXP and FWA positions Iraq on shorter paths between neighbouring territories and Europe.
