After eight years of restoration, Britain’s Old War Office opens as The OWO — home to the UK’s first Raffles hotel and 85 residences.
London, 29 September 2023 — The OWO opened today at one of London’s most powerful addresses. Set in a building of epic proportions, The OWO is home to the first Raffles hotel in the UK, The OWO Residences by Raffles, and a collection of independent restaurants and bars.
Raffles London at The OWO features 120 rooms and suites, three dining experiences by acclaimed chef Mauro Colagreco, entertainment spaces including a grand ballroom, and an extensive spa in partnership with Guerlain and Pillar Wellbeing.
Over the past eight years, the Old War Office has been restored to its former glory with the help of hundreds of artisans — from hand-laid mosaic floors and oak panelling to chandeliers and a magnificent marble staircase. Raffles London at The OWO has been developed in partnership between the Hinduja Group, ONEX and Accor.
